MAP Testing this Week

Facts about MAP Growth Test:

• It is a computer-based test
• Students previously took the test in September and December
• Questions can be multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, fill in the blank, etc.
• Each test has about 40-50 adaptive questions
• This is not a test where your student is going to know every answer.  This test is constructed to determine a student’s current level which requires them to be asked questions above their level. Please let them know this and encourage them to do the best they can. 
   

Both days students report to 4th period. 

Wednesday (Reading MAP Test 7th & 8th)

• 8:45-12:55 – MAP testing and lunch

Lunch: Students have the same lunch

• 1:00-1:45- 1st Period
• 1:50- 2:35- 2nd Period
• 2:40- 3:25- 3rd Period
• 3:30-4:15- 4th Period

Thursday (Math MAP Test 7th & 8th)  Algebra to the cafeteria

• 8:45-12:55 – MAP testing and lunch

Lunch: Students have the same lunch

• 1:00-1:45- 5th Period
• 1:50- 2:35- 6th Period
• 2:40- 3:25- 7th Period
• 3:30-4:15- 8th Period
